M.I.A.

I went down to see M.I.A. play in Central Park today. So, it turns out, did everyone else in NYC. Seriously, there were 12 million people in line, and I was 12,000,001. So, no, I didn't even come close to getting in. In fact, from where I was sitting, M.I.A. sounded like Rosie Perez reciting the morning call to prayer through a cardboard tube.

Why can I never manage to jump on a pop-culture bandwagon before it shows up on T.R.L.?
